TADEO LAZARO GARCIA
Tadeo Lazaro Garcia was born in Puerto Rico and had a deep interest in the arts since a very early age. Due to family business, he had to adapt to different countries, languages and cultures when he was starting his life, leaving behind a deep impression and marking his existence.
The most significant influence from an artistic point of view other than the one received by his mom, was obtained while he was an intern in San Isidoro of Archidiocesis, NY, a Polish-American school situated in Riverhead, Long Island. Here he began taking both theoric and practical art lessons (drawing, sculpture) when he was ten years old and every month he visited the museums in the area along with his classmates and the supervising eye of the school s artistic director. These regular visits to art exhibitions and museums slowly implemented his appreciation of beauty and necessity to create, leading him to dedicate completely to the production of art.
Saying Tadeo Lazaro Garcia is entirely self-taught would be inaccurate, since he has a solid academic background. After finishing his high school studies, which he alternated with different art lessons, he devoted entirely to the visual arts. During the years he lived in Florida he was a disciple of recognized artist Fernando Daza, who regularly gave him the opportunity to visit and use his studio.
Currently, Tadeo Lazaro Garcia has a studio located in Miami.
